Pitt Means co-founded Berntson Porter Corporate Advisory, and currently serves as a Managing Director. In his role, Pitt advises private companies on major capital transactions including business sales, acquisitions, and raising capital. His experience includes transactions across a range of industries, including Manufacturing & Distribution, Professional & Financial Services, Construction & Building Materials, and Food Processing.

Prior to BPCA, Pitt spent three years as a Senior Director with a Seattle-based private investment bank, where his responsibilities included business development and deal execution for middle market companies in the Northwest.

Previously, Pitt spent eight years in operating roles with ShareBuilder Securities and United Online, holding positions in Business Development, Strategy, and Marketing. At ShareBuilder, Pitt helped launch and grow the ShareBuilder 401(k) business line, and later ran ShareBuilder’s IRA business. At United Online, Pitt ran customer acquisition marketing for the Classmates business line.

Pitt previously worked as an investment banker with Montgomery Securities in San Francisco and Delafield Hambrecht in Seattle.

Pitt received a B.A. in Economics from Williams College and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Pitt holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
