Share this article : According to Associated Builders and Contractors, Construction Backlog Is On the Rise September 5, 2014 The second quarter Associated Builders and Contractor’s (ABC) Construction Backlog Indicator (CBI) improved 5.4 percent to 8.5 months, an all-time high. The CBI measures the amount of commercial and industrial construction projects to be performed in the next several months. This was great news after a slow winter, where CBI had fallen 2.8 percent.
