Looking Forward: Pacific Northwest Continues to be Economically Attractive

At a recent joint economic forecast hosted by NAIOP, AGC, and the AIA, a featured speaker from McGraw-Hill confirmed what many know about the Pacific Northwest.  It continues to be a bright spot in the Nation’s economy, with strong private sector spending keeping demand for construction services afloat at a time when public sector spending remains soft.  Looking forward, the construction sectors with the most promise include Retail, Health, Multi- and Single-Family Residential, Sewer & Utilities, and Highway into 2014 and beyond.
