The end of 2012 is fast approaching.  Your schedule is probably filling up with holiday events, family gatherings, and hopefully year-end planning meetings. This can unquestionably be a fun yet stressful time of year. Year-end tax and financial planning is fundamental for business success. This is the time of year to re-examine your specific business practices and make adjustments that will propel your business toward continued success.

Below is a link for a checklist of best practices that could improve your company’s financial and tax position at the year-end and beyond.  Don’t let this list overwhelm you!  Implementing these items can be tricky as you consider the tax benefits, potential impact on the financial statements, and your banking relationships.  Engage your CPA to assist you with year-end planning.  They can help relieve some of the stress related to year end planning so that you can spend more time enjoying family, eggnog and other holiday celebrations.
